Terms of Service

1. Who we are
QBill is operated by OSD Consulting, [legal form], registered in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire under RCCM [number], with its registered office at [address] ("QBill", "we"). These terms govern your use of the QBill website, portal, API and SDKs (the "Service").
2. Your account
The Service is for businesses and professionals. You provide accurate information about your business and its representative; it must be verified before any withdrawal. Two-factor authentication is required for everyone who signs in to the portal. You are responsible for everything done with your account and API keys: keep them secret and replace them if you suspect a leak.
3. Payments and supported methods
QBill lets you bill your customers in XOF and collect their payments. At launch, Wave in Côte d’Ivoire is the only available payment method; others will be announced as they open. Payments are processed by Wave, whose own terms also apply. Your customers pay either into QBill’s Wave account, or into your own Wave account if you connect it to the Service.
4. Your wallet and withdrawals
Payments collected for you on QBill’s Wave account are written to your account’s ledger, less fees, and make up your wallet balance. You can withdraw that balance to a Wave number in your name. Each withdrawal is confirmed with a code sent to your security email, separate from your sign-in email, then reviewed and approved by our team before it is sent. Withdrawals open once your business is verified.
Payments collected on your own Wave account reach you directly and do not go through your QBill wallet.
5. Fees
Your plan’s price is the one on our pricing page, in XOF. On every payment collected on QBill’s Wave account we take a fee of 1.5%, with a 100 XOF minimum, never more than the payment. Payments collected on your own Wave account carry no such fee. QBill does not charge for withdrawals; any operator fees remain yours. We give you at least [30] days’ notice of any fee increase.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use QBill for illegal goods or services, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity prohibited by BCEAO regulations or the laws of the country where you operate. We may suspend an account or hold a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect such activity, or where the law or a partner requires it.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; no availability commitment is offered today. To the extent permitted by law, QBill is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the [12] months before the claim.
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time once your wallet balance has been withdrawn. We may end the agreement with [30] days’ notice, or immediately for serious breach. Any balance owed to you remains payable after termination, subject to legal obligations.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Côte d’Ivoire and the applicable OHADA uniform acts. Disputes go to the courts of Abidjan, after an attempt at amicable settlement. Questions: legal@qbill.dev.
